I grew up with music in structured settings—classical music, chorus, and church. My interest grew from there, but music was also present in my home, in all kinds of forms.
It became part of who I am. My connection to it started long before I had an artist name or a release to put out.
A-Jon is the name I use for my instrumental music. It gives that part of my work a place of its own, alongside the music I create as JayA.
